Harpalus honestus [RDB1] (Carabidae) was found at St Bee's Head in May 1994.

In the British Isles the weevil Dorytomus majalis [RDBK] (Curculionidae) was formerly known from Cheshire north to southern Scotland, but was last recorded from Langwathby and Honeypot, near Penrith, some time prior to 1960. It should be looked for on various species of willow Salix.
