Orkney

The boreal ground beetle Pelophila borealis [RDB3] (Carabidae) is to be found locally on muddy edges of lochs.

The leaf beetle Chrysolina crassicornis [RDB2] (Chrysomelidae) should be looked for on plantain Plantago growing on clifftop grassland, throughout the year.

The endemic weevil Apion ryei [Nb] (Apionidae) should be looked for on Red Clover Trifolium pratense in July.
