Renfrewshire

The last record of Agonum sahlbergi [Extinct] (Carabidae) in the British Isles was from the south bank of the River Clyde in 1914 and it is now presumed to be extinct. It may have been a post-glacial relict species, or possibly just a temporarily established introduction. The species occurs under stones on riverbanks.
